Real Estate Still Hot at the Top of the World
Local mountain real estate prices are at their lowest in 10 years

The time is ripe for second home buying in the local mountain resorts. Obviously there are many factors driving our economic market in America at this time. However, if you are a young family or a mature, wise investor, who has been conservative over the last 4 years, it could be time to consider a new opportunity.

The local mountain resort community is presenting a wide array if investment opportunities for second home resort getaways, and now is the time to make your move.

Our publication is networking with the top realtors throughout the mountain, desert and beach communities. We currently have over 61 mountain properties and several desert and beach properties within our referral program. These range from a $200,000 cabin to a $2,000,000 lakeside property.

For instance, picture a 1248 sq. ft., two-story log cabin on a 10,000 sq. ft. of land overlooking Boulder Bay at Big Bear Lake for $389,000. This property actually sits on 2 lots and is available now. This property would have sold for over $500,000 two years ago.

Or imagine a 4-bedroom, 3-bath, 2965 sq. ft. built in 2008 on a 7200 square foot lot. This a totally gorgeous, brand new and spacious log style home. It has two master suites, one with a fireplace, and is located in a fabulous forest springs atmosphere.

With all kinds of properties available, one stands out at the other side of the spectrum. Here's a listing that almost sounds humorous. Check out this local realtors description: "Sold as land only! This structure has been trashed and the bank wants it gone! But... a cool location! Top of the hill with a great view of Fisherman's Lake. Lots of code violations and possible encroachments. Yes there are problems, but for the right buyer, this is a great location in the country just minutes from Redlands. $63,500."

There are loads of properties in all ranges available now in our local mountain resorts. Big Bear Lake, in particular, is one of the hottest selling makets at the time.
