New Owners Single-Out John Laing Homes
by
Sandra McClintock
While the
words "pleasure," "love," and "special" are not frequently used
to describe the homebuying process, those who have recently purchased
residences in John Laing Homes' San Diego neighborhoods rave about
their experiences.
Rick and Dawn
Robinson, who previously lived at John Laing Homes' Bella Ventana
in northern Los Angeles County, had been waiting to find the next
John Laing Home that would meet the needs of their growing family
- no matter where it was located. "We had such a wonderful experience
with John Laing Homes at Bella Ventana that we knew we would never
buy anything but a John Laing home again."
A Sea Stone
plan at the San Diego Division's Cordelane neighborhood in La
Costa Greens fit the bill, and the Robinsons promptly bought it.
"We absolutely love the layout of the Sea Stone residence we purchased.
The option for four bedrooms upstairs with a downstairs guest
room works out great for us, our three children and my mother.
We appreciated all the different options John Laing Homes made
available to us," said Dawn.
The Robinsons,
who moved into their new home at Cordelane this past December,
also praised John Laing Homes' customer-oriented philosophy.
"Throughout
the homebuying process, we have personally encountered everything
that has led to John Laing Homes' many customer satisfaction awards
- and are living proof of the incredibly positive experience they
provide. Everyone at John Laing Homes always makes us feel so
special."
This positive
feeling extends to John Laing Homes' other San Diego neighborhoods,
also.
"We had been
shopping around for almost three years, looking for the perfect
fit, and finally found it in John Laing Homes' Isla Vista neighborhood
within La Costa Greens," said Stacy and Doug, a married couple
who recently moved into the Inspiration plan at Isla Vista. "We
wanted a non-gated community, and loved the options packages along
with the amenities the neighborhood offers, like The Presidio
recreation center - which is just steps away from our home."
Stacy and
Doug also singled out John Laing Homes for exemplary customer
service.
"Every aspect
of the homebuying experience was a pleasure, because everyone
- from the mortgage people to the individual vendors - took the
time to work with our busy schedules, answer many questions, and
accommodate a lot of changes. Even though the Eliant survey's
highest rating is a '6,' we would have liked to give John Laing
Homes a '10'!"
"We're glad
these extra efforts truly make a difference to our residents,"
said John Mecklenburg, president of John Laing Homes' San Diego
division. "Buying a home is a milestone in the lives of most people
and we are totally committed to helping families navigate the
homebuying experience, from construction to move in. Our team
is available every step of the way to answer questions, offer
peace of mind, and make that beautiful new home a reality."
John Laing
Homes has consistently exceeded these expectations not only by
building quality-crafted homes, but also personally soliciting
buyer feedback. It is this customer-focused approach that earned
John Laing Homes' San Diego Division honors in the Eliant categories
for the "Best Homebuying Experience" and "Best Purchase Experience."
They also took second-place for "Overall Quality," "Home Readiness,"
and "Construction Experience." The San Diego division placed third
in "Finance and Closing Experience," and "Highest Rated Community
- Seahouse." This is a remarkable achievement for the Carlsbad-based
division which is just three years old.
